Content Writer Responsibilities:
- Create content for mailers, newsletters, presentations (Proofreading, edit spelling, grammar and syntax. content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Ensure that content meets the company or client’s needs and follows our in-house style guide. Verify content and information.
- Regularly updating the company’s website and promoting the internal communications channels by pitching articles to various internal and external platforms.
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
- Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
- Organize, modify and update existing content.
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Conducting keyword research, analyze data and analytics, and seek to increase reader engagement, retention and use SEO best practices to improve content relevance
- Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.
- Represent the IC team in meetings, program manage events and organize logistics end to end.
- Work with the graphic design team to ensure a user-friendly experience.
- Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping our audience in mind.
- Manage a busy workload according to deadline.
- Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to meet company’s needs Content Writer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or related field. Communications, marketing, etc
- Proficient in copy editing, proofreading copywriting. Excellent writing, speaking. editing skills and command of the English language.
- Highly organized and detail oriented, ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a highly matrixed, faced-paced environment
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Calendarize and plan the seamless execution of planned communication activities
- Conceptualize and execute various communication campaigns solving business problems, celebrating important occasions engaging glocal audience
- Flawless delivery of creative content solution for various projects. Ability to leverage and handle omni-channels/media solutions
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Social Media platforms. Ability to use new technology and tools like GenAI for content and design related work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, team player, learning/growth mindset, solution orientation
- Experience in the area of effective communications – verbal and written.
To excel in this role they must be proactive, selfmotivated, creative, resilient, tech savy, innovative and dynamic with an experience in developing, editing content,excellent communication and organizationalskills. They must follow organization guidelines and employee reader psychology.
