Educating Children and Upskilling Youth in Rural India
Tag
Incorporated in 2019, IndiVillage Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on closing the learning and skill gap in rural areas. Our interventions are implemented in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
Our journey began as an impact vertical within our for-profit social enterprise, IndiVillage Tech Solutions. We provide IT jobs to youth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. Through our interactions with rural youth, we recognized the pressing need for skill training, which inspired us to establish the IndiVillage Foundation with a specific focus on addressing the skill gap in rural India.
