Event Overview:

Join us on 18th October for CulturalXConnect, an evening celebrating creativity, tradition, and connection! As we embrace the spirit of Dussehra, this event will bring together GHRC members for a night of cultural performances, festive spirit, and networking. The event features a Creativity Showcase followed by an exciting Garba and Dandiya session to bring everyone into the festive mood. Let’s celebrate the beauty of our traditions while building meaningful connections within the GHRC community.

Event Agenda:

Welcome 

• Host welcomes GHRC members and guests.
• Opening remarks on the significance of Dussehra and its theme of good triumphing over evil.
• Introduction to the event’s goals: celebrating creativity, tradition, and community connection.

GHRC Creativity Showcase

• Performances by GHRC members showcasing their creative talents:
  • Dance performances (Traditional and contemporary)
  • Singing (Including festive and cultural songs)
  • Instrumental acts
  • Cultural skits or storytelling inspired by Dussehra.
• Each performance will be 5-7 minutes long.

Break & Networking Session

• A short break for informal networking and discussions on how different cultures celebrate Dussehra.
• Virtual photo booth for attendees to capture their festive moments!

Garba & Dandiya: Dance to the Festival Beat!

• Introduction to Garba and Dandiya, explaining their significance during Navratri and Dussehra.
• A lively dance session where everyone joins in the Garba festivities!
• Virtual attendees will be guided on how to participate from home.

Best Ethnically Dressed Awards & Closing Remarks

• Announcement of the Best Ethnically Dressed Male & Female—winners will receive small festive-themed gifts.
• Closing remarks by GHRC organizers thanking everyone for their participation.
• Group photo in festive attire to commemorate the evening.

• Nominal Fee of ₹300 for Non-GHRC Members

Participation Information:

If you’d like to participate in the Creativity Showcase, please send your details to Rithika Halakatti at rithika.h@globalhrcommunity.com by 15th October. Include:

• Your Name
• Type of Performance (Dance, Singing, Instrumental, etc.)
• Duration of Performance (Up to 5-7 minutes)

Dress Code:

Festive or traditional ethnic attire to celebrate Dussehra.
