In Gratitude to Those Who Have Shaped Me
A Heartfelt Tribute on Teachers’ Day
On this special occasion of Teachers’ Day, my heart is filled with immense gratitude for all those who have played a part in shaping my knowledge, skills, attitude, and values. From my earliest influences to the esteemed mentors I have had the privilege to learn from, I stand today because of the collective wisdom imparted to me.
To my dearest parents, Late Dr. K Rajagopal and Mrs. Manoranjini Rajagopal, and my beloved in-laws, Late RV Sathya Narayana and Late Mrs. RV Srimati, your love and guidance laid the foundation of my life’s journey.
To my wife and children, thank you for your constant support, for teaching me patience and unconditional love, and for shaping the person I have become.
To my uncles, Late Dr. CK Prahalad and CK Madvesh, your wisdom and influence have inspired me to think beyond boundaries and strive for excellence.
To the stalwarts of leadership, Dave Ulrich and Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, your teachings have deeply enriched my professional path and personal growth.
To the incredible leaders under whom I have worked, the teams I have had the privilege to lead, and the customers who have trusted me — you have all been my greatest teachers. I have learned invaluable lessons through every challenge, every success, and every moment of service.
To all others who have walked alongside me, impacted me, and contributed to my journey — I carry your lessons in my heart.
As the great philosopher Albert Schweitzer once said:
“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”
Thank you to each of you for being that spark in my life. I am forever grateful.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Yours greatfully your sincere Student
Ramesh Ranjan
