IndiVillage Foundation: Stories of Progress from the Classroom 🌱

In classrooms supported by IndiVillage Foundation, progress appears in many ways from a student confidently presenting at a STEM Expo to a child discovering something new on a computer for the first time.

The past month has been filled with such moments, reflecting the ongoing efforts to create meaningful learning opportunities for students.

In 2024–25, with the support of CGI Inc., IndiVillage Foundation established five computer labs across rural Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, providing 2,823 students with access to digital learning.

For many students, it was their first experience using a computer, bringing visible excitement and growing confidence. Insights from Sudhakar Pai and the students themselves reflect the impact of this initiative and the importance of expanding digital access through partnerships.

Young Innovators Take the Stage

This month, IndiVillage Foundation hosted a Block Level STEM Expo in Anantapur, where students from the Tech Her Forward program presented their capstone projects.

In front of parents and teachers, the girls explained the problems they chose, the solutions they built on Scratch, and the thinking behind their ideas showcasing confidence, creativity, and leadership through technology. 🚀

Strengthening Classrooms Together

In a recent training led by Saturday Art Class, educators from eight partner organisations working with IndiVillage Foundation participated in a reflective session for the early childhood education program.

Through creative activities and discussions, the session highlighted an important insight: challenges are an essential part of growth. It concluded with origami flowers, symbolising patience, reflection, and continuous learning. 🌸

Inside Classrooms in Bassi

This month, Ravi Machani, Director at IndiVillage Foundation, visited Shardha School Bassi Jaipur to observe the Tech Her Forward and Storytelling Everyday sessions.

During the visit, he reviewed content delivery, facilitation methods, student engagement, and the classroom environment including the hanging library while also connecting with fellows and aligning program activities at the Bassi office.
