What you’ll be doing

• Design of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems, involving both plastic/sheet metal parts, enclosures, and structures
• Participate in off the shelf parts/module selection.
• Create proof of concept prototypes by fabrication and rapid prototype techniques
• Hand calculations using first principle, tolerance stackup
• Create drawings with GD&T.
• Inspection, testing and qualification of parts
• Contribute to feasibility testing and verification testing.
• Documentation of design records, test protocols & test reports

What you’ll bring

• Sound Knowledge of Mechanical Design Concepts (Design Calculations, Materials, engineering-mechanics
• Sound Knowledge of Reading and creating Mechanical Drawings.
• Hands on experience of CAD software (SolidWorks Preferred).
• Knowledge on FEA is added advantage.
• A good Electromechanical project which demonstrates the skill during academics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal/influencing skills
