About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Career Coach to join our team. The Career Coach will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals through their career development journey, providing personalized support, mentorship, and resources to help them achieve their professional goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of career development principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one career counselling sessions to individuals seeking guidance on career exploration, job search strategies, and career transition planning.
• Assist students in crafting effective resumes and cover letters that highlight their skills, experiences, and accomplishments, tailored to their target industries and job roles.
• Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to help students improve their interview skills, including practising responses to common interview questions, developing compelling narratives, and enhancing their confidence and presence.
• Offer guidance on effective job search strategies, including utilizing online job boards, networking techniques, and leveraging social media platforms for professional branding and outreach.
• Administer career assessments and skills inventories to help students identify their strengths, interests, and areas for growth. Develop personalized action plans to enhance their skills and competencies aligned with their career goals.
• Design and deliver workshops and seminars on topics such as resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, networking strategies, and personal branding to support students in their professional development journey.
• Facilitate networking opportunities and connect students with industry professionals, alumni networks, and community resources to expand their professional network and access potential job opportunities.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience in career counselling, coaching, or related field.
• Strong understanding of career development theories, counselling techniques, and job search strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in conducting career assessments and interpreting assessment results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Certification in career coaching or counselling is a plus.
