What is the ADKAR Model?
The five elements of ADKAR are:
- Awareness: Employees must understand the need for change.
- Desire: Next, they need to have a desire to participate in the change.
- Knowledge: Acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills for the change.
- Ability: Individuals must possess the ability to implement the change.
- Reinforcement: Involves sustaining the change as a part of organisational culture.
