LinkedIn founder: how to get ahead while others lose their jobs

In this video, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman shares insights on how to stay relevant and competitive in a rapidly evolving AI-driven world. He argues that AI should be used to augment human capabilities rather than replace them. Hoffman encourages early adoption of AI tools, predicts major innovation in education and healthcare through AI, and foresees the emergence of billion-dollar businesses powered by these technologies. While some jobs may change, he believes work will persist due to human ambition. He also introduces the concept of AI personal “twins” to extend one’s digital influence and legacy.

        Key Points:

        • AI is a human amplifier—it works best when paired with human creativity and refinement.

        • Early adoption of AI tools (like Copilot, ChatGPT, MidJourney) is essential to stay ahead.

        • Most professionals will be using AI-enhanced assistants by 2025–26.

        • Future billion-dollar businesses will be built using AI tools, not necessarily by creating AI models.

        • AI will significantly transform education and healthcare through tutoring and diagnostics.

        • Job roles will evolve rather than vanish; work hours may remain steady in the near future.

        • Personal AI “twins” may be used to replicate and extend individual voices and skills digitally.
