• Skewness – The HR Balance Checker!

Not all data is perfectly balanced. Sometimes, numbers lean to one side, and that’s exactly what Skewness reveals.

It shows whether your data distribution is:

      * Positive Skew (Right-skewed): Long tail on the right → most values are low, few very high ones raise the average.

      * Negative Skew (Left-skewed): Long tail on the left → most values are high, a few very low ones drag the average down.

      * Zero Skew: Perfectly symmetrical → data is balanced.

      HR Use Case:

When analyzing salaries, skewness helps HR see if the average salary truly reflects most employees, or if it’s being pulled by just a few extremes.

Skewness ensures HR leaders don’t just look at the average but understand the real story hidden in the data.
