Around 60% of professionals in India agree that a university degree is necessary for a successful career, latest data from LinkedIn’s Workforce Confidence Index finds. However, LinkedIn data also shows that skills-first hiring would help expand talent pools by 11.4x in India. So, do degrees still serve as a reliable signal of job readiness to employers?
