“Gopal, we loved your podcast! Great guests, amazing conversations, please keep them coming!”
This is what I’ve been hearing over the past few days, and I must admit, I’m both humbled and a bit overwhelmed by the positive feedback.
It’s incredibly heartwarming to know the podcasts are making an impact.
This journey has been a tremendous learning experience and a testament to the power of collaboration and support.
I owe much of this success to amazing colleagues like Anshuman Tiwari (who runs LinkedIn Live Manage Better), Vikas Dua (who started his own podcast very recently – Heartfelt Conversations), and Ankit Jhamb, who have not only been great thought leaders in their own right but have also selflessly guided me with their insights, experiences, and tips for success!
There is no dearth of content today, but what truly matters is the context shaped by years of experience. Each person brings unique insights, and when you collaborate, energies multiply, making shared knowledge profoundly impactful.
A few weeks ago, when I met Aparna, she asked, “Gopal, why haven’t you started a podcast yet?” It was the second time someone had asked me that, following Myah.
“I had wanted to but never did, Aparna, as I don’t know how it works”, I said.
“Sometimes, you won’t know until you take the plunge,” she said.
Some people have also asked, “Why podcasts?”
In today’s fast-paced world, where everyone is getting busier, podcasts offer a unique way to consume knowledge. They allow you to learn and grow while multitasking—during your commute, workout, or even while doing household chores. Why did I start the podcast?
I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling and recognized that everyone has their own unique journey. If even 1% of my listeners find value and help through my podcast, I’ll consider it a huge success!Though I feel like I’ve joined the podcast game a bit late, I believe there’s a time for everything. Starting this podcast has been a significant step in overcoming impostor syndrome. It allows me to be a student, listening to wonderful perspectives and uncovering authentic stories that resonate on a deeper level.
So, how do I feel today after three episodes?
It’s been an incredible journey of learning. Are you considering starting anything new? My advice is simple: begin. You’ll learn and improve along the way. The key is to stay authentic and passionate about whatever you do.A huge thanks to Sreelekha, Athrv, and my dear friend Prashant for their unwavering support. They have been pillars of strength throughout this journey.
Now, I’d love to hear from you!
I would love your feedback on how I can make my podcasts more valuable for you.Let’s keep learning, sharing, and growing together! Your support means the world to me. Don’t forget to leave your thoughts and comments—I’m eager to hear from you.
