Kicking Off the Talent Supply Chain Management Roundtable
Hi Team,
I am thrilled to announce the launch of the Talent Supply Chain Management Roundtable under the Global HR Community (GHRC). This initiative comes with a bold ambition: to introduce next-generation thoughts, technologies, and capabilities in the sphere of Talent Supply Chain Management, also known as People Supply Chain Management.
To begin this exciting journey, I have invited a core team of individuals who have worked closely with me on talent supply chain initiatives in my previous roles at Computer Science Corporation (CSC), DXC, and GE as well as a few thought leaders from other leading organizations. I am excited about the insights and collaboration this group will bring.
Our focus will be on creating impactful research, benchmarking, and developing thought leadership through white papers. Additionally, we aim to drive breakthrough ideas and exponential growth in talent management practices. Beyond this, we will introduce certification programs to equip young professionals who aspire to build their careers in talent supply chain management with the knowledge and credentials needed to excel.
This event is being kicked off during the auspicious Navaratri festival, a celebration of good over evil, knowledge, and new beginnings—making it the perfect time to embark on this journey.
I look forward to working closely with all of you on this initiative. Stay tuned for more updates, and I will also be scheduling a fortnightly call for us to review the charter, purpose, and progress of this initiative.

From Cars to Cookies to Code – My Journey in Supply Chain 🚗🍪💻
My journey into supply chain management began when I joined Toyota, the gold standard for Just-in-Time, Kanban, lean manufacturing, and the pull system that made zero inventory a reality.
I carried those principles to Britannia, where I worked across the end-to-end supply chain as CHRO and CIO by implementation of Adavanced Planning and Optimization ( APO) SAP modules to help transform it into one of India’s most respected FMCG brands.
Then I asked myself… what if these principles could be applied to people?
Then, I took these learnings into the world of talent — creating a People Supply Chain model at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). This improved on-time demand fulfillment, boosted profitability per employee, and elevated the candidate and employee lifecycle experience.
When CSC merged with HP to become DXC, my passion for talent supply chain management grew stronger. Later at EY GDS, I had the opportunity to set up a global talent supply chain management function from the ground up.
Now, I’m bringing this experience to the Global HR Community Talent Supply Chain Roundtable — where we’ll:

✅ Build skills across workforce planners, demand managers, recruiters, internal resource managers, and schedulers, skilling professionals , HR and People Managers / leaders .
