Yugandhar emphasized the importance of competency classification—behavioral, functional, and technical—and shared best practices for using data and analytics to enhance fairness and effectiveness in performance evaluations.

Interactive discussions covered customization of performance management systems, classification of job roles and skills, and combining quantitative and qualitative metrics in goal evaluations. The webinar also introduced tools like the 9-box talent grid to map performance and potential, and a second matrix to assess attrition risk versus business impact, supporting better talent development and retention strategies.
