About the job
Salesforce Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst on the Enterprise Business Systems team, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. Your responsibilities will span across understanding business processes, facilitating the delivery of key projects, and ensuring that requirements are effectively translated for both business stakeholders and technical teams. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment where curiosity, problem-solving, and a proactive mindset are key. This role is not limited to supporting Salesforce but will be required to support other systems and applications in the Enterprise Business Systems ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Assess Business Impact: Evaluate incoming requests and projects to determine business impact, challenges, priorities, and feasibility.
End-to-End Project Facilitation: Lead requirement gathering and prioritization sessions, conduct gap analysis, and work with developers on design and implementation.
Data Analysis & Documentation: Partner with teams to analyze data, identify trends, and document business logic for effective data manipulation.
Process & Solution Documentation: Document current (As-Is) business processes, define business requirements, and design solutions to meet those needs.
Ticket Management: Manage daily ticket queues, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other Business Analysts, Salesforce admins, and developers to deliver cross-functional solutions.
Integrated Systems Support: Collaborate with business stakeholders and external partners to support requests related to integrated systems beyond Salesforce.
Project Support: Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and managing project deliverables, risks, and timelines.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate with technical teams and business stakeholders on unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing.
What You’ll Bring
Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce, preferably with Service Cloud. Experience with other platforms (e.g., Sales, Marketing, CPQ) is a plus.
Cross-System Support: Ability to think beyond the Salesforce ecosystem and support other systems, such as in Finance and HR.
Experience with Go-to-Market Teams: Familiarity with Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support) is highly desirable.
Quickbase Experience: Experience with Quickbase is a bonus but not required.
Business & User Requirements Management: Proven experience in managing business and user requirements to drive successful project implementations.
Salesforce Best Practices: A solid understanding of Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and limitations, with the ability to clearly communicate these to stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field.
