Job Overview:
They are responsible for the employee onboarding process to ensure a smooth and efficient transition for new hires. This role involves coordinating with various departments, providing support and resources, and helping new employees integrate into the company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all new hire paperwork and documentation.
- Organise and schedule orientation sessions, engagement meetings, and training programs for new hires.
- Coordinate with new hires until they are successfully transitioned to their respective teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Initiate Background Verification (BGV) and Professional Reference (PR) checks for employees.
- Arrange accommodation for candidates according to company policy.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, ensuring timely payment processing.
- Manage candidate reimbursements efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Gather feedback from new hires regarding their onboarding experience.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance the onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in HR or onboarding roles is an advantage.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other onboarding tools.
Personal Attributes:
- Empathetic and supportive attitude towards new hires.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptability to change and proactive problem-solving skills.
