• Before escalating a situation, pause and reflect. Ask yourself: Am I making a solution-oriented decision, or am I just impatient and unable to handle the situation? Consider the potential impact on your relationships with stakeholders and team members. Will it affect your work or others’? For the well-being of all, avoid getting trapped in the situation and don’t take it too personally. Don’t be too proud of your accomplishments – simply move on. Refrain from repeatedly discussing the issue with colleagues and indulging in the pleasure of it.
