The Indian economy has been growing at a phenomenal pace in the past 2 decades, and you must have seen that India is getting a lot of global attention. This is because, in the past 40 years, the world has seen China go from a poor nation to now a global superpower. This is because the Chinese govt knew how to leverage its population to turn the country into an economic powerhouse!!!
…and now India has become the most populous country of all. We have billions of dollars of Foreign direct investment flowing in, and after Covid, the world has started moving its business from China!!
But while on one side while we Indians are hopeful about India becoming a superpower, on the other side the most talented Indians are leaving the country.
In 2022, A total of 13.2 lakh students were studying abroad, of which atleast 1.45 lakhs were studying business and management.
And these are not ordinary students but some of the smartest business minds in the world who leaving India for Harvard, INSEAD, and Stanford!!
This is what made me wonder, why don’t we have a Harvard or Wharton type of college in India? and while I did my research, I went to teach in a college called Master Union. Now I thought this is just another bschool, but when I looked deeper I discovered something very fascinating!!
