To be fair, I don’t hate the job. I still love the challenge. In the past year, I’ve learned so much, and I’m genuinely excited to keep figuring it out. But yeah—it’s hard. I’ve had more “??????” moments than I can count.

Here’s more about the role:

Fresh Prints is an NYC-based custom apparel startup, experiencing 60% growth Y/Y. As a Retention Coordinator, you’ll join a team driving the growth of our $40 million business by retaining high-value accounts at scale.

You’ll grow as Fresh Prints grows. You’ll get all the time and support you need to learn a lot, develop professionally, and have a significant impact.

Description of the Role

  • Collaborate with graphic designers, marketing, and content teams to write on-brand copy for our collegiate and corporate clientele
  • Analyze sales data, comms, and customer behavior to come up with retention marketing strategies and execution plans
  • Execute on cross-functional retention marketing work along with sales, and other marketing team members to ensure successful account retention per campaign
  • Analyze the impact of retention campaigns and initiatives and apply findings to future campaigns

About you:

  • Solid fundamentals in any programming language (preferably, Python or JAVA) and OOPS concepts. CI/CD with Jenkins or similar systems is desired
  • Exposure or familiarity with AWS and its offerings, such as, S3, EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM
  • Good foundational knowledge in working on Linux based systems. This includes, setting up git repos, user management, network configurations, etc.

Contract & Compensation:

For all Junior positions we offer a 6-month internship contract with a salary of $85,000 yearly, aiming for a permanent contract.

The annual base salary is $85,000 (USD) which will be prorated based on internship start and end date. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Salary reviews are scheduled every six months, with your compensation increasing rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into a more significant impact.

Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer is an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for design, implementation, testing and maintenance of innovative software products. The successful candidate must be able to quickly learn the existing systems and components, actively participate in expanding the current systems with new components, as well as develop new components using big data and other emerging technologies.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and communicate with the client post-sale to develop an implementation Participate in defining product level architecture and be responsible for designing component level architecture.
  • Take ownership of features and components.
  • Utilize test-driven development approach to deliver commercial quality code.
  • Perform code and design reviews.
  • Perform hands-on development and maintenance of software applications/components.
  • Maintain and support current systems and ongoing programs.


What you will bring:

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on coding experience in Java and SQL.
  • Hands-on knowledge and work experience on Oracle or any database.
  • Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers and Java-related technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, XML).
  • Any AI and NLP experience (not required but a plus).
  • Shell scripting and regex expertise (not required but a plus).
  • Ability to develop large-scale systems in a team environment.
  • Able to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge, demonstrating the desire to stay in touch with emerging technologies.
  • Must be a disciplined adherent of proper software development procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
